BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY

Professor Murray J. Bryant, B.Comm., M.Comm., M.A., Ph.D., DFNWC

 

Professor Murray J. Bryant has a distinguished record of ethical leadership with more than 35 years of experience as a professor at top-tier business schools. He is a Distinguished Fellow and Professor of Ethical Leadership of New Westminster College of Caucasus University, where he concurrently serves as the Director of Ethical Leadership Programs.

 

Professor Bryant previously served as the Provost of New Westminster College. And on On June 5, 2015, he was honoured by being appointed as a Professor Emeritus of the Richard Ivey School of Business of Western University in Toronto, Canada, where he also served as the Director of the MBA program. He also previously served at the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, in several positions, including: Director of the Executive MBA program and Associate Dean of the MBA program. His research interests include: Cost Systems and Strategy, Cost Management, and Performance Evaluation in Healthcare, and he has professional teaching interest in Managerial Accounting.

 

Professor Dr. Murray J. Bryant earned his B.Comm. in 1971 from the University of Canterbury and his Chartered Account certification in 1972 from the New Zealand Society of Accountants. He earned his M.Comm. in 1975 from the University of Auckland. And in 1978, he earned his M.A. from Ohio State University. He earned his PhD in 1983 from the University of Cincinnati. His doctoral dissertation title was: “Auditor Judgment: Simulation and Information Search.”
