Admiral Alain Coldefy Appointed Professor of Ethical Leadership

of the New Westminster College of Caucasus University

 

TBILISI, GEORGIA. The Office of the President of Caucasus University has announced that Admiral Alain Coldefy was officially appointed today as a Professor of Ethical Leadership of the New Westminster College of Caucasus University.

 

Admiral Alain Coldefy has a distinguished record of ethical leadership and retired from the French Navy as an admiral in October 2012, after serving as Advisor to the Minister of Defence and Inspector General of the Armed Forces of France. His other flag officer assignments include: Vice Chief of Defence, Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff, Deputy Chief of Naval Operations, Commander of the FR/UK Naval Task Force and Commander of the Carrier Group.

 

Admiral Coldefy is a graduate of the French Naval Academy, French Naval War College and the French Defence College. He has been a Distinguished Fellow of the New Westminster College of Caucasus University since 2013.

 

Admiral Coldefy was promoted in 2013 to the rank of Grand Officer of the Légion d’Honneur, and was appointed as Président de l’Société des membres de la Légion d’Honneur in 2018. He also serves as the Président de l’Académie de Marine in Paris, which was founded in 1752.
