Professor Murray Bryant Appointed as Director of Ethical Leadership

Programs of New Westminster College of Caucasus University

 

TBILISI, GEORGIA. The Office of the President of Caucasus University has announced that Professor Murray J. Bryant, PhD, DFNWC, was officially appointed today as Director of Ethical Leadership Programs of the New Westminster College of Caucasus University with concurrent appointment as a Professor of Ethical Leadership of New Westminster College of Caucasus University.

 

Professor Bryant has a distinguished record of ethical leadership with more than 35 years of experience as a professor at top-tier business schools. He is a Distinguished Fellow of New Westminster College and previously served as its Provost. And on On June 5, 2015, he was honoured by being appointed as a Professor Emeritus of the Richard Ivey School of Business of Western University in Toronto, Canada, where he also served as the Director of the MBA Program. He also previously served at the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, in several positions, including: Director of the Executive MBA Program and Associate Dean of the MBA program. His research interests include: Cost Systems and Strategy, Cost Management, and Performance Evaluation in Healthcare, and he has professional teaching interest in Managerial Accounting.

 

Professor Bryant earned his B.Comm. in 1971 from the University of Canterbury and his Chartered Account certification in 1972 from the New Zealand Society of Accountants. He earned his M.Comm. in 1975 from the University of Auckland, and in 1978, he earned his M.A. from Ohio State University. He earned his PhD in 1983 from the University of Cincinnati. His doctoral dissertation title was: “Auditor Judgment: Simulation and Information Search.”

 

Professor Bryant is a sought after speaker and academic researcher. He has written numerous case studies for the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and other leading business schools. He has also authored numerous book chapters, articles, monographs and publications (refereed and non-refereed).
