Professor Paul Henry is Awarded the Chair's Commendation from the Priory of Canada of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John

 

 

TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA. The Office of the Dean of the New Westminster College of Caucasus University has announced today that Professor Paul E. Henry was awarded the Chair's Commendation from the Priory of Canada of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John.

 

Professor Henry received the Chair’s Commendation for his leadership and support of the St. John Council for Ontario's strategic advancement, including Northeastern Ontario Branch's growth and development. Professor Paul Henry was presented with the commendation by Mr. Joel Campbell, OStJ, Provincial Chair, Council of Ontario, and Mr. Phillip Clarke, KStJ, CA, Chancellor of the Canadian Grand Priory of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem.

 

Professor Henry is a Professor of Education and Distinguished Fellow of the New Westminster College of Caucasus University, and serves as a Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the New Westminster Society. He has served as a Senior Specialist in Education for French Language Education Policy at the Ontario Ministry of Education and presently serves as the Director of the Scolaire Catholique du Nouvel-Ontario in Sudbury, Ontario with Principal and Vice Principal responsibilities for six schools. As a teacher at the post-secondary and Ministerial levels, and through the French Language Monitor Programs of the Ontario Ministry of Education, he was responsible for teaching courses in Geography, History, Sociology, Humanities and Cultural Activities.

 

Professor Henry previously served in Her Majesty’s Canadian Armed Forces and was Officer Commanding of the Training Centre at CFB Borden. He was responsible for the training of 600 Reserve Officers per year in various professional training courses for commissioned officers. "Professor Henry continues to represent our college, university and society in an exemplary manner," said Professor Robert Goodwin III, Dean of the New Westminster College of Caucasus University. "His continuing record of volunteerism and selfless community service reflect great credit upon himself and his affiliated institutions.”
