Caucasus University, Caucasus School of Technology (CST), announces an open competition for the academic positions of Professor - 4 vacancies, Associate Professor - 2 vacancies, and Assistant Professor - 2 vacancies, in the following field:
Professor
- Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) — 4 vacancies
Associate Professor
- Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) — 2 vacancies
Assistant Professor
- Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) — 2 vacancies
Qualification Requirements
a) For the Position of Professor
- A person holding a doctoral or equivalent academic degree in the relevant field, with at least six years of scientific and pedagogical experience, shall be elected to the position of Professor for a term of seven years.
b) For the Position of Associate Professor
- A person holding a doctoral or equivalent academic degree in the relevant field, with at least three years of scientific and pedagogical experience, shall be elected to the position of Associate Professor for a term of seven years.
c) For the Position of Assistant Professor
- A person holding a doctoral or equivalent academic degree in the relevant field shall be elected to the position of Assistant Professor for a term of four years.
Additional Requirement
Knowledge of English at no lower than B2 level is required in the case of teaching on English-language programs.
A qualified individual may also be elected to the position of Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor on the basis of professional qualifications. In such cases, the person’s qualifications may be confirmed through professional experience, specialized training, and/or publications. A person shall be considered to possess the relevant qualifications if they have the competencies necessary to support the achievement of the learning outcomes envisaged by the program.

Interested Applicants Must Submit the Following Documents
- A CV in Georgian and English, including information on teaching and scientific activities;
- Syllabus/syllabi of the relevant course(s) in Georgian;
- A copy of an identity document;
- Copies of documents confirming education, qualification, and academic degree/title, including documents confirming possession of a doctoral/master’s/bachelor’s or equivalent academic degree
- In the case of an academic degree obtained abroad, the documentation required for verification of authenticity;
- A certificate confirming scientific and pedagogical activity, in accordance with the requirements of the position;
- Full information on articles, books, monographs, or other scientific works, including the title of the work, place of publication, date of publication, number of pages, and name of the publishing house, as well as copies of the outer covers of the works. For the purposes of the competition, data from the last five years are of particular importance;
- In the case of teaching on English-language programs, an international certificate confirming English language proficiency. English language proficiency may be confirmed by a valid international certificate certifying knowledge of English at B2 level and/or by a document confirming completion, within the last three years, of a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral academic program conducted in English; alternatively, the applicant must be a citizen of a country where English is an official language.
In the event of selection for an academic position, the candidate must submit certificates confirming the absence of a criminal record for offences against sexual freedom and inviolability, as well as a certificate confirming that they have not been deprived of the right to hold the relevant position.
The Competition Will Be Conducted in Three Stages
Stage I — Review of submitted documents
Stage II — Presentation/interview
Stage III — Finalisation of the competition results
- Date of announcement of the competition: 6 April 2026;
- Submission of documents: from 6 May 2026 through 11 May 2026;
- Competition period: May 2026.
Venue of the competition: 1 Paata Saakadze Street, Tbilisi. In certain cases, depending on the specific nature of the competition, it may be conducted remotely.
Period for publication of competition results: May 2026.
