Caucasus University Announces a Vacancy for the Position of Head of the Alumni Relations and Development Office

Caucasus University is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Head of the Alumni Relations and Development Office.

 

Purpose of the Position

 

The purpose of the position is to establish a modern, strong, and internationally aligned alumni relations and development office at Caucasus University.

The Head of the Office will be responsible for strengthening long-term relationships with alumni, building and developing local and international alumni networks, increasing alumni engagement in university life, and advancing mentorship, networking, fundraising, and other strategic areas.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and implement a strategy for alumni relations and development involving both local and international graduates of Caucasus University;
  • Prepare the Office’s annual action plan and define key performance indicators;
  • Establish and manage an effective system for creating, continuously updating, and maintaining the alumni database, and prepare relevant reports;
  • Initiate, design, and implement programs and activities aimed at increasing alumni engagement;
  • Develop and implement student support programs involving alumni, organize events and themed weeks, advance mentoring initiatives, and ensure alumni participation in the University’s strategic projects and activities;
  • Develop effective communication channels and a relationship-management system, including the preparation and distribution of regular newsletters, the management of professional networks, the promotion of alumni success stories, and the development of a dedicated alumni section on the University website;
  • Develop a sustainable alumni engagement and support system, including initiatives designed to strengthen long-term loyalty to the University and promote a culture of giving and fundraising;
  • Cooperate with all relevant structural units of the University;
  • Analyze and report on alumni engagement outcomes and prepare relevant recommendations;
  • Represent the Office’s activities and interests at internal and external meetings, working groups, and various events.

 

Qualification Requirements

 

  • Higher education; a master’s degree will be considered an advantage;
  • Alumni status from Caucasus University will be considered an advantage;
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience;
  • At least three years of experience in a managerial position;
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: higher education management, alumni relations, international relations, fundraising, public relations, marketing, career services, corporate relations, or project management;
  • Excellent command of Georgian and English;
  • Strong strategic planning, organizational, and management skills;
  • Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills;
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership development;
  • Experience working with databases, CRM systems, or digital communication tools;
  • Experience in planning and managing events, campaigns, and communication activities.

Working Conditions

 

  • Working schedule: Monday through Saturday. Saturday is a shorter working day, and the need to work on specific Saturdays will be determined in agreement with the supervisor;
  • Probationary period: six months, paid.
