Qualification Requirements
Professor
- Appointment for a 7-year term
- PhD or equivalent academic degree
- Minimum 6 years of academic and teaching experience
Associate Professor
- Appointment for a 7-year term
- PhD or equivalent academic degree
- Minimum 3 years of academic and teaching experience
Assistant Professor
- Appointment for a 4-year term
- PhD or equivalent academic degree
Language Requirement
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher (required for English-taught programs)
Candidates may also be appointed based on professional qualifications, demonstrated through professional experience, specialized training, and/or publications, provided they possess the competencies required to achieve the program’s learning outcomes.

- Course syllabus/syllabi in Georgian;
- Copy of identification document;
- Copies of academic degree certificates;
- Authentication documents for degrees obtained abroad (if applicable);
- Proof of academic/teaching experience (as required);
- Full list of publications (articles, books, monographs), including publication details
(publications from the last five years are particularly important); - Proof of English proficiency for English-taught programs
(B2 certificate, completion of an English-language degree within the last three years, or citizenship of an English-speaking country).
Selection Process
The competition will be conducted in three stages:
- Review of submitted documents
- Presentation and/or interview
- Final evaluation
