The history of Caucasus University dates back to 1998, when Caucasus School of Business was established.
CU offers students high-quality education, international programmes, and practice-oriented learning. Since its foundation, Caucasus University has maintained cooperation with universities around the world and currently has 289 partner universities in 74 countries.

Caucasus University, Caucasus School of Tourism (CTS), announces a competition for the following academic positions:
Professor
• Tourism (1 vacancy)
Associate Professor
• Tourism (1 vacancy)
Assistant Professor
• Tourism Management (2 vacancies)
Note: Within the field of Tourism, the teaching load includes courses in Tourism Economics and Food and Beverage Management, while Tourism Management refers to hotel practice.
Qualification requirements
For the position of Professor
A person holding a doctoral or equivalent academic degree in the relevant field, with at least 6 years of scientific-pedagogical experience, may be elected as Professor for a term of 7 years.
For the position of Associate Professor
A person holding a doctoral or equivalent academic degree in the relevant field, with at least 3 years of scientific-pedagogical experience, may be elected as Associate Professor for a term of 7 years.
For the position of Assistant Professor
A person holding a doctoral or equivalent academic degree in the relevant field may be elected as Assistant Professor for a term of 4 years.
Additional requirement:
Knowledge of English at no less than B2 level is required in the case of teaching on English-taught programmes.
A qualified person may also be elected to the positions of Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor on the basis of professional qualifications. In such cases, a person’s qualification may be confirmed through professional experience, specialised training, and/or publications. A person shall be considered suitably qualified if they possess the competencies necessary to ensure the achievement of the programme’s intended learning outcomes.

- A CV/resume in Georgian and English, including information on teaching and scientific activities
- Syllabi of the course(s) in Georgian
- A copy of an identity document
- Copies of documents confirming education, qualifications, and academic degree/title, including documents certifying possession of a Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral, or equivalent academic degree
- In the case of a degree obtained abroad, the documentation required for authentication
- A document confirming scientific-pedagogical experience, in accordance with the requirements of the position
- Full information on articles, books, monographs, or other scientific works, including the title of the work, place and date of publication, number of pages, and name of the publisher, as well as copies of the outer covers of the works. For the purposes of the competition, information from the last 5 years is of particular importance
- For teaching in English-taught programmes, an international certificate confirming English language proficiency
English language proficiency may be confirmed by a valid international certificate proving B2-level English, and/or a document confirming completion of a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in an English-taught programme within the last 3 years, or by citizenship of a country where English is the official language.
The competition will be conducted in three stages:
Stage I – Screening of submitted documents
Stage II – Presentation/Interview
Stage III – Final evaluation of the competition

In certain cases, due to the specific nature of the competition, it may be conducted remotely.
