Caucasus University proudly announces the release of Making Higher Education Count: Embracing the Supermarket Model, led by Prof. Kakha Shengelia, PhD, President of Caucasus University, and co‑authored by Dr. Fred Kasirye, PhD, management scholar and Assistant to the Director of Projects.
On April 28, the closing event of Georgian Language Days was held at Vilnius University.
During the official visit to Lithuania, the President of Caucasus University, Dr. Kakha Shengelia, and Vice-President Ms. Irena Melua were hosted at Kazimieras Simonavičius University. The meeting took place with the university administration, including Vice-Rector for Research, Associate Professor Dr. Helga Marija Kauzonė, and Professor Jolanta Zabarskaitė.
On April 29, within the framework of cooperation between Caucasus University and the French-Georgian University, another public lecture was held for students and academic staff of the School of Economics at Caucasus University. The topic of the lecture was - “Unveiling the Interplay: ICT as a Moderator in the Renewable Energy and Human Development Nexus within BRICS Countries”.
On April 27, Caucasus School of Business held the defense of master’s theses, during which students successfully presented and defended their research outcomes before the committee.
During their official visit to Lithuania, the President of Caucasus University, Mr. Kakhaber Shengelia, along with Vice-Presidents Ms. Khatia Goglidze and Ms. Irena Melua, were hosted by the Rector of Vilnius University, Professor Rimvydas Petrauskas. The meeting took place at Vilnius University.
On April 28, at the initiative of the Child Rights Centre of Caucasus University, CSL students, together with Professor Levan Darbaidze, visited the Tbilisi Service Facility for Victims of Trafficking and Violence.
On April 26, a third event was held at Vilnius University within the framework of the project “I Love Georgian – My State Language!” (authored by Mariam Manjgaladze).
A delegation from Caucasus University, led by Kakha Shengelia, President of Caucasus University, and Irena Melua, Vice President for Internationalisation, visited Kauno kolegija (Lithuania) to further strengthen international cooperation.

On April 20–24, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility Program, Dr. Irakli Shamatava, Affiliated Associate Professor at Caucasus University and Editor-in-Chief of a scientific journal, visited the Faculty of Law and Economics at Kazimierz Wielki University in Poland.
On April 26, the Lithuanian Writers’ Union hosted a Georgian calligraphy masterclass for Sunday School students and their parents within the framework of the project “I Love Georgian – My State Language!”, initiated by Mariam Manjgaladze.
On April 22-24, 2026, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) program funded by the European Union, the PROVE Project "Promoting Values Education in South Caucasus Higher Education Institutions" training sessions titled “How to teach values?” for the academic staff of Caucasus University were held.
On April 23–24, Tbilisi State University hosted an international scientific conference dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Ivane Javakhishvili.
On April 23, Caucasus University (CU) hosted an information session for prospective students, offering an overview of the university’s academic environment and opportunities.
On April 16, 2026, as part of the stakeholder engagement series of the Caucasus University Green Tourism Hub, a meeting was held with representatives of the European School: Ana Chakhnashvili (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) Coordinator), Nino Sachaleli (International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (CP) Coordinator), and David Kbilashvili (Head of the DP and CP Programmes).
With the support of Caucasus University, Lizzy Kezherashvili, a student of the Caucasus School of Governance, travelled to Milan, Italy, to participate in the 11th European Youth Debate 2026.
On April 21, Caucasus University hosted the state governance simulation game “Govern the State” for prospective students interested in public administration, diplomacy, and international relations.
