The five-day International Learning Experience in Georgia program, hosted by Caucasus University, began on October 12 with the 11th Annual International Conference titled “Education, Science, and Technology for a Sustainable Future.” A delegation from the Abu Dhabi School of Management (ADSM) attended the opening day, accompanied by Dr. Boris Lezhava, Managing Partner of CTC Dubai and Vice President of Research and Strategic Development at Caucasus University.
The opening session featured a keynote address by Professor Marc Audi, Full Professor in Economics and Management and Provost at ADSM, who set the stage for two days of discussions on sustainability, technology, and the future of education.
Following the keynote, Dr. David Tsiklauri moderated a panel on science communication. Researchers from Caucasus University discussed how academic knowledge can reach a broader audience while maintaining accuracy, and how AI and social media are transforming how research connects with the public. The plenary session then brought together speakers from Georgia, India, and Kuwait to discuss topics such as AI, institutions, markets, and sustainable transformation, covering areas like green finance, energy markets, AI and the law, and AI in education.
This was an enriching start to the program, bringing new ideas, valuable connections, and insight into how Georgian and international institutions are addressing the challenges of sustainable development. We thank Caucasus University, a leading academic institution in Georgia, for its warm hospitality.
