On 23 September, Caucasus University hosted a public lecture titled “Capitalism Without Guilt: The Moral Case for Free Markets,” delivered by Dr. Yaron Brook -  author, economist, entrepreneur, and internationally recognized speaker.

On September 17, Professor Vakhtang Partsvaniya of the Caucasus School of Business and Senior Research Fellow at the CSB Research Center delivered a research seminar at Central European University (CEU) in Vienna.

A joint study conducted by the Chapidze Emergency Cardiology Center and Caucasus University, titled “Performance-based financing as a quality governance reform in primary health care: workforce perspectives,” has been published in the A-level international peer-reviewed British journal International Journal of Health Governance.

Zurab Ghambashidze, a student of the Economics Program at Caucasus University School of Business (CSB), participated in the 8th National Scientific Conference of Georgian Economists - “Georgia’s Economy amid Geopolitical Fragmentation: Challenges and Opportunities,” held in Akhaltsikhe in 2026.

On July 8, Caucasus University hosted the public defense of the doctoral dissertation of Tamar Bliadze, a PhD candidate of the English-taught Doctoral Program in Economics at the School of Economics.

On June 30, Caucasus University hosted the public defense of the doctoral dissertation by Valida Pantsulaia, a student of the English-language PhD Program in Economics at the School of Economics.

On June 29, Caucasus University hosted the public defense of the doctoral dissertation of Tamar Mdivnishvili, PhD candidate of the English-language Doctoral Program in Economics at the School of Economics. The dissertation - “Asymmetric Monetary Policy: A DSGE Approach,” was supervised by Mariam Kharaishvili, Assistant Professor.

A new article by Prof. Dr. Azer Dilanchiev has been published in Energy Policy, an Elsevier scientific journal indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, listed in JCR Q1, with an Impact Factor of 9.3 and CiteScore 19.3.

On June 10, 11, 12, 15, and 16, bachelor’s thesis defenses were held at the Caucasus University School of Economics. A total of 71 students presented their theses before the committee.

As part of the public lecture series of the Caucasus School of Economics, a meeting was held on the topic: “Taxes in Georgia: System and Practice.”
