Presentation of double degree 3-year undergraduate program in cybersecurity

On May 28, at 11:00, the presentation of the first 3-year double degree undergraduate program in cyber security, which is implemented by Caucasus University together with New Jersey City University will be held in the Caucasus University conference hall. 

 

The event will be held in two stages:

 

I - Presentation of Double Degree 3-year undergraduate program in cyber security

 

The information meeting will be lead by: Marvin Walker - Dean of New Jersey City University College of Professional Studies, Maxim Yavich - head of CU Cyber Security Center and Shota Nizharadze- Dean of CST.

 

New Jersey City University president Sue Henderson, Caucasus University President Dr. Kakha Shengelia, representatives of professional organizations and state agencies will also deliver speeches at the event. 

 

The action plan of the double degree cyber security educational program and Cyber Security Center will be discussed at the event, the audience will get acquainted with detailed information about the partner university and student life. The event will be conducted in interactive mode, the audience will have the opportunity to receive detailed answers to their questions.

 

II - signing a Memorandum with organizations 

 

Within the framework of the event, Memorandums of Cooperation will be signed with scientific and professional organizations and agencies in the field of cyber security. 

 

Caucasus University and New Jersey City University Double Degree Program is the first of its kind in Georgia. It allows students to study at the undergraduate level for only 3 years and receive two university diplomas, study abroad at a leading American university and receive knowledge from international level foreign and Georgian professors. 

 

New Jersey City University, located in New Jersey, United States, is one of the few institutions in the country with federal rights in both cyber security and intelligence, and whose cyber defense program has been named the National Center for academic arts in cyber defense education (Kae-KDE).
