On June 17, at 17:00, at the Chavchavadze Center, a joint public lecture will be held by the Caucasus University International Center for Georgian Studies and the Ilia Chavchavadze Center for European Studies and Civic Education on the topic: “Language Policy and Political Discourse (the Case of Georgia).”
The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Mariam Manjgaladze, Professor at Caucasus University and Doctor of Philology.

- A brief overview of the historical context (prior to the 20th century);
- Language policy of the First Democratic Republic of Georgia;
