Public Lecture: “Foundations of Modern Oncology: Causes, Diagnosis and Treatment”

On February 26 at 10:00 AM, Caucasus University will host a public lecture at the University Conference Hall titled “Foundations of Modern Oncology: Causes, Diagnosis and Treatment.”

 

The lecture will be delivered by Tornike Gakhokidze, Affiliated Assistant Professor at the School of Medicine, Oncologic Surgeon, and Specialist in Skin and Soft Tissue Surgery.

 

The session will explore:

 

  • Key risk factors associated with cancer development
  • Modern diagnostic approaches
  • Current standards and advancements in oncological treatment

 

Particular emphasis will be placed on the most prevalent oncological diseases worldwide. Through selected clinical examples, attendees will gain insight into disease progression, screening strategies, therapeutic options, and the critical role of prevention.
