Simulation Game for Prospective Students – “Govern the State”

21 April 2026

On 21 April at 4:00 PM, Caucasus University will host a special event in Auditorium C9 for prospective students interested in Public Administration, Diplomacy, and International Relations: the state governance simulation game “Govern the State.”

Through a specially designed computer-based simulation and with the support of academic staff, participants will gain insight into:

  • what it means to govern a state and what effective governance truly involves;
  • the political capital and budgetary resources required to implement public policy across different sectors;
  • the relationship between voters, electoral groups, ideologies, civic associations, and election outcomes;
  • the complex interconnection between politics, the economy, security, domestic affairs, and international relations.

Join us for an engaging and interactive experience and discover more about public administration and diplomacy through simulation-based learning. Explore how even a small shift in one area of governance can trigger major consequences in another. The duration of the event is 3 hours.

The introductory session and simulation will be led by:

  • Eka Akobia – Dean of the School of Governance, Professor of International Relations
  • Giorgi Tskhadaia – Associate Professor of Political Science, School of Governance
  • Emir Eteria – Professor of Economics, School of Governance

During the simulation, a committee will identify three outstanding speakers/decision-makers, who will be awarded study vouchers for the educational programs of the School of Governance:

  1. First Place – GEL 1,500
  2. Second Place – GEL 1,000
  3. Third Place – GEL 700
