On July 25, the Erasmus+ National Office in Georgia organized a workshop on the topic “Practical Experience Examples and Financial Management.”
The aim of the meeting was to promote Erasmus+ projects implemented by Georgian beneficiaries, support the sharing of practical experience, increase the motivation of future applicants, and strengthen the quality and visibility of Erasmus+ initiatives in Georgia.
The workshop focused on successful project examples from the youth sector and vocational education, with particular attention given to the implementation of institutional projects and Jean Monnet activities in HEI, as well as issues related to budget planning.
The workshop was attended by Akaki Kapanadze, Director of the Project Management Department at Caucasus University, and Professor Guranda Chelidze from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. As a Jean Monnet Professor and the Chairholder of the Jean Monnet Chair “European Union for Peace, Prosperity and Security” (EU-PPS), Professor Chelidze shared her personal experience in project planning and implementation.
Special attention was given to key aspects necessary for successful project preparation and winning in the application process. Professor Chelidze’s presentation covered various stages of project development and implementation — from formulating the idea and selecting partners to strategic planning. The discussion also addressed budget planning and the practical aspects of project management, which are essential for ensuring the high-quality implementation of the Chair.
These meetings contribute to professional growth, the generation of new ideas, and raising awareness about European Union programs among the professionals and wider public.
