Within the Jean Monnet project Integrating EU Models of Media Literacy Education into Georgian Academic Sphere (EUMLGE), from February to October 2024 meetings were held with schoolteachers at private school Tamarioni in Gori, public school of village Khidistavi in Gori, private school Qorali in Tbilisi, public school of village Zubi and teachers of four Tbilisi based public schools at Tbilisi Youth House Foundation.
During the meetings, the project author – George Jologua introduced European models and the practice of integrating media literacy into formal education to the participant teachers.
The goal of the meetings conducted throughout the project is to raise awareness of Georgian school teachers concerning the meaning, importance and the European practice of integrating media literacy across curriculum.
