on April 27, 2026, within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE project ENRICHER Hubs - "Designing Green Tourism Concept through Learning", the first stakeholder meeting took place, hosted by CENN - one of the leading organizations in Georgia working on environmental sustainability and sustainable tourism development.
CENN is actively involved in conducting trainings, research activities, grant programs for regional SMEs, and organizing the well-known “Ketskhoveli Prize” competition.
During the meeting, representative of the ENRICHER Hubs project (Nino Tigishvili) introduced the project activities and future plans to CENN’s Educational Programs Manager and project managers. The discussion focused on potential areas of cooperation and the role of stakeholders in strengthening Green Tourism Hubs.
CENN representatives expressed strong interest in future collaboration and involvement in project activities. At the same time, they highlighted several important considerations regarding the long-term sustainability of Green Tourism Hubs. In particular, they raised questions about institutional responsibility within potential partnerships - specifically whether the hub itself or the university would be responsible for managing activities and outcomes.
Another key topic discussed was student engagement. Participants emphasized that ensuring active student participation remains a challenge, especially because hub activities are often separated from formal educational curricula. They noted that stronger integration between hub activities and academic programs would be essential for long-term success.
