Caucasus University invites you to an intensive certificate course on research ethics and integrity.
The course starts on 28 February and ends on 18 March. The course consists of 6 online meetings via Zoom platform. Online meetings will be held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays at 18:00. Meetings last: 2 hours.
If you are a doctoral student, researcher, or representative of the research field, this course will help you:
- Gain an in-depth understanding of ethical principles, which are essential for conducting quality research.
- Master international standards to conduct your research in accordance with modern ethical standards.
- Improve the reliability of research quality to avoid plagiarism, data manipulation, and other problems.
- Increase your chances of obtaining grant funding, as funding organizations are increasingly concerned about ethical standards.
The course covers the following topics:
- Research ethics and integrity issues.
- Research ethics frameworks and regulations.
- Procedures for conducting research ethically.
- The ethics of scientific publication.
- Prevention of risks of research misconduct.
The course will be taught by: Tamar Chokoraia, Head of the Academic Writing Center, Professor, Lecturer in Academic Writing.
