The Ideathon is a one-day intensive event designed to inspire participants to generate innovative ideas around a specific topic or challenge, develop these ideas, and propose creative solutions to real-world problems.

Priority Topics: Sustainability, Technology, Healthcare, Entrepreneurship, Financial Data Analysis

Up to 50 students are selected to participate in the competition based on a preliminary application process. Early-stage startup teams are also encouraged to join the event.

Fintech and Financial Education Ideathon

Financial technology and financial literacy create important opportunities for innovation and the development of new business ideas. With this in mind, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Caucasus University organized the FinTech and FinEdu Ideathon in October 2026. The event aimed to encourage the development of new ideas in these fields and served as a preparatory stage for UNI4VERSE, the university’s startup competition.

The ideathon focused on identifying real-world challenges in the financial sector and developing innovative solutions. During the event, participants explored current trends in FinTech and the banking sector, consumer needs, and emerging opportunities within the industry.

Throughout the ideathon, participants worked in teams to analyze challenges in the financial sector, identify consumer needs, and develop innovative ideas. The practical sessions focused on developing Minimum Viable Product (MVP) concepts and prototypes, refining ideas, and assessing their feasibility.

The initiative provided participants with an opportunity to gain professional insights and feedback from industry representatives and experienced entrepreneurs, strengthen their teamwork and problem-solving skills, and gain practical experience in developing innovative solutions to challenges in the financial technology sector.

Digital Tourism Ideathon 2026 

 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Caucasus University, in collaboration with the School of Tourism, supports the use of innovation and digital technologies in the tourism and hospitality sectors. As part of this collaboration, the Digital Tourism Ideathon was held, providing participants with the opportunity to identify challenges in the tourism industry and develop innovative ideas.

The two-day ideathon is dedicated to the application of digital technologies in the tourism and hospitality sectors. Its goal is to support the resolution of industry challenges and the development of innovative solutions.

During the ideathon, participants work in teams to address real-world challenges in the tourism industry, using artificial intelligence and digital technologies to develop practical solutions and innovative ideas. Collaboration with industry experts and experienced mentors helps them refine their ideas and develop technological solutions.

The ideathon featured a cash prize pool of GEL 3,600, aimed at encouraging participants and supporting the development of innovative ideas.

CU Founder Sprint: From Discovery to Ideathon 

The Campus Founder Discovery & Ideathon Sprint was organized through a collaboration between the Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and global venture accelerator 2080 Ventures. The program provided students with the opportunity to explore entrepreneurship and the startup ecosystem, develop their ideas, and gain practical experience in the early stages of entrepreneurial activity.

The program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and practical experience needed to launch a startup. Through online sessions and the ideathon, participants worked on identifying problems, validating ideas, developing a minimum viable product (MVP), and strengthening their teamwork skills.

The program also offers participants the opportunity to receive support from local and international mentors, explore the global startup ecosystem, and develop their entrepreneurial ideas.

At the end of the ideathon, the winning team received a cash prize from 2080 Ventures, supporting the further development of participants’ initiatives and entrepreneurial ideas.

SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals

In 2023, the SDG Innovation Acceleration Program was held for the first time in Georgia, with the Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center serving as the exclusive partner of the UN Global Compact Network Georgia.

This program, aimed at young professionals working for companies that are members of the UN Global Compact, focuses on increasing the involvement of youth in managing sustainable innovations within their organizations. It emphasizes the planning and implementation of initiatives that hold both market and social value. The acceleration program is supported by the UN Global Compact and the Embassy of Sweden.

Visits of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Tech Parks Georgia

Within the framework of Caucasus University's Third Mission Project, Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center in collaboration with  Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency, is organizing workshops and activities across all regional tech- parks in Georgia. These initiatives aim to foster youth development and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The goal of these activities is to offer participants an opportunity to explore key entrepreneurial topics and, simultaneously, to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through active engagement in practical tasks.

Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Pupils

The entrepreneurial Bootcamp program for school students is a dynamic and practical program aimed at deepening students' knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship. The program introduces participants to fundamental topics such as innovation, creativity, startup idea generation, validation, refinement, and the creation of problem-oriented products.

The goal of Bootcamp is to raise entrepreneurial awareness among school students, encourage innovative thinking, and introduce them to the key components of startup creation.

The program includes 3-5 days of intensive mentoring sessions, as well as practical workshops.

Participants in the program are students from grades IX - XII from various schools.

Key Format:

• Thematic Trainings on Key Entrepreneurial Topics: Startup idea generation and validation, customer research and communication, value proposition, business model development, market research, branding, fundraising, pitching, and techniques related to it.
