On May 10-12, the first international Agro Competition Future Agro Challenge in Georgia was held in Technopark. Future Agro Challenge is the largest global initiative seeking innovators and agro-proprietors for food, agro technologies, agrotourism and agriculture worldwide.
Two of the three winners of the event are the startup teams of the C10 Startup Accelerator of Caucasus University.
The Insect Killer was awarded with a cash prize of 2,000 GEL, which is the second biggest success of this team. Last year, the startup received a GITA grant of 5,000 GEL, which helped create a product prototype.
The team UNKNOWN, a team of the first-year CST students, will continue to work on the project with the help and financial support of the member companies of the Farmers Association. The team won the TeamUp Hackathone held at CU last year.
The project was implemented in partnership with Caucasus University and Startup Accelerator C10 and with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the Innovations and Technologies Agency, Tbilisi Startup Bureau and Beeline.
