GITA University Competition in Innovation and Technology UNI4VERSE – FINEDU Launches

16 September 2026

The large-scale university competition UNI4VERSE, organized by the Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), is back!

The project is being implemented in partnership with FinEdu, the educational platform of the National Bank of Georgia, and with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.

This year’s main theme is FinTech (Financial Education). Students will have the opportunity to develop innovative and technology-based solutions to real financial challenges.

What challenges will participants work on?

  1. Integration of Financial Services: Integrating new financial technologies into existing systems can be difficult, while users often struggle to choose the most suitable option from a wide range of services.
  2. Long-Term Planning: Long-term financial decisions, such as investments and retirement savings, are often perceived as complicated, resulting in low levels of engagement.
  3. Financial Security: Due to limited awareness and careless online behavior, users frequently become victims of financial fraud and cybercrime.
  4. Everyday Finances: Many people find it difficult to manage their daily expenses effectively, plan a budget, and build savings for specific goals.
  5. Small Business Cash Flow: Small businesses often lack simple tools for forecasting and analyzing cash flow, which can lead to unexpected financial difficulties.

Why should you participate?

  • The first-place student team will attend the global technology conference WEB SUMMIT.
  • A GEL 20,000 grant will be awarded.

Who can participate?
