Master's and Doctoral Scholarships 2027–2028 – Government of the Czech Republic The Government of the Czech Republic is accepting applications for Master's and doctoral scholarship programs for the 2027–2028 academic year.
The scholarship provides funding for studies at universities in the Czech Republic at the master's (2 years) and doctoral levels (3-4 years). The program includes:
- In Czech – Master's programs preceded by a one-year intensive Czech language preparatory course (included in the scholarship);
- In English – selected Master's and Doctoral programs.
The monthly stipend for the master's level is 16,000 Czech crowns, while the monthly funding for the doctoral level is 24,960 Czech crowns. The stipend is intended to cover study and living expenses in the Czech Republic.
A prerequisite for applying to the master's program is holding a bachelor's degree, whereas for the doctoral program, it is holding a master's degree.
Interested individuals must participate in the selection process, complete the application form at the provided link, and upload the required documents. The deadline for submitting applications is September 30, 2026.
Each applicant may register only once and submit only one application. An application is considered complete only after the motivation letter and mandatory tests have been completed.
