We would like to inform you that the University of Angers, France, is accepting applications for the 2026 Summer School: “Heritage, Art of Living and Tourism in the Loire Valley, UNESCO World Heritage.
Duration of the program: June 29 - July 10, 2026 (2 weeks).
The program is intended for students interested in tourism, culture, the food industry or sustainable development.
The program covers the following topics:
- Urban architecture of the Loire Valley;
- Gastronomy and the culture of liqueurs;
- Wine culture and wine tourism;
- Equestrian culture - visit to the Cadre Noir of Saumur (a tradition included in the UNESCO list);
- Castles of the Loire;
- Religion and caves;
- History and legends;
- Nature and culture - on the Loire River Fishing Boat Tour
Program participation fee:
- 1 850 € - without accommodation;
- 2 500 € - with shared accommodation (Hotel Séjours & Affaires Angers Atrium, June 28 - July 11, 13 nights, breakfast included)
The fee includes: the training program, seminars, lunches in restaurants, public transport in Angers.
The fee does not include: travel expenses, visa fees, insurance policy and other expenses.
The registration deadline: April 26, 2026.
