Under the Memorandum WIC representatives held a public lecture on the topic - Femicide and Early Marriage.

During the meeting a field training was planned for interested students. Lectures and training will deal with gender issues.

The organization plans to select and employ one or several students to work in the web portal for a 6 -month period.

Training and practice is especially interesting for young beginner journalists. It is also planned to film documentary with participation of CU students.

Caucasus University hosted the director of Women's Information Center, Elene Rusetskai who delivered a 45-minute lecture on Femicide and Early Marriage and talked extensively about the possible involvement of CU in different activities within the framework of the program.

Women Information Center, which works on women's rights and gender equality issues,was founded 15 years ago. Many other areas are also covered - women and domestic violence, women's political participation, women's rights and gender in the country and monitoring how the government carries out its international commitments, etc.
