The Presidents discussed their joint project, and based the cooperation, an agreement has been reached 2014 between the " University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in the Caucasus".

The main direction of the University will be to develop Engineering education in bachelor, master and doctoral degrees in the Caucasus region. The joint program will be accredited in Georgia as well as in Austria, respectively, graduates will receive a diploma recognized by both countries.

The university will start accepting applicants to its new educational programs as of 2016 .
