By the initiative of the University's President, Mr. Kakha Shengelia, CU organizes a charity event to support the Ukrainian people. The project aims to help children in the city of Mariupol. Special boxes are placed in the University building (auditorium C-19, V floor) to donate household items, clothing and products.

About 6,000 people were killed in the Ukrainian conflict. More than 900 000 people seek refuge in other countries; approximately equal number lost shelter and are left homeless.
