Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development – Tbilisi Implementation Conference

On May 28-29, organized by the Parliament of Georgia a high-level international conference was held in Tbilisi on the implementation of Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development.

 

The conference participants were addressed by the President of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) Dr. Kakha Shengelia and the Rector of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria Dr. Gerald Reisinger.

 

The event is a platform where representatives of diplomatic missions, scientific communities, states and high officials of the public and private sectors as well as other interested parties were given an opportunity to discuss challenges faced and experiences gained in the implementation process.

 

The co-organizers of the conference are: the Administration of the Government of Georgia as well as international partners: German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the United Nations. The Conference was supported by the Caucasus University and Grigol Robakidze University.
