On December 19, Caucasus University hosted the annual closed event of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia.

The purpose of the event was to present the Ministry's activity report for the year 2022 to government agencies, international partners, and business sector representatives.

Minister Eka Khoperia spoke at the event about the construction/rehabilitation of public schools in Abkhazia, issues of access to education in the occupied territory, international grant projects, and other important issues.

The event was attended by representatives from the diplomatic corps, international organizations, local governments, and Caucasus University.

It should be noted that Caucasus University constantly supports any activity aimed at assisting Abkhazia and Abkhazian youth, and is also the organizer of a number of significant events in this regard.

Musical performances at the event included: Abkhazia State Song Ensemble "Shavnabada"; Guram Kurashvili State Choir Chapel of Abkhazia; and "Piano Man" Gigi Wonder.
