In the Caucasus University bookstore "Librarea", the Georgian-Argentine artist Gocha Gaios (Shatirishvili) presented two of his works as a gift to Caucasus University and its president.

In 2013, while Georgian researchers were in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gocha Gaios met Kakha Shengelia, the president of Caucasus University. Recently, during a brief visit to Georgia at the invitation of Prof. Mariam Manjgaladze, Gaios visited Caucasus University and chose to present his works to the President of CU as a gesture of respect.

Gocha Gaios (Shatirishvili) is an Argentinian artist of Georgian origin. In the nineties, after graduating from the Faculty of Philology at TSU, he pursued and completed his master's and doctoral theses at the University of Warsaw in Poland. His doctoral research focused on references to Georgia in 19th-century Polish literature and historiography (under the supervision of Kartvelologist, Prof. Ian Brown). In 1995, Gocha Gaios moved to Argentina. In 1999, he befriended renowned Argentinian surrealist artists and decided to develop a unique style in this genre. He has since held numerous successful exhibitions in Switzerland, Spain, Georgia, and Argentina.
