On July 27, the conference hall named after Bijan Fazlollahi, the founder of Caucasus University, Honorary Doctor, Professor Emeritus, Doctor of Philosophy and Engineer, and Director of Robinson College of Business, was officially opened.
The event was attended by Kakha Shengelia, President of Caucasus University, along with representatives from the university administration, Prof. Fazlollahi's family members, colleagues, and other invited guests. Kakha Shengelia addressed the audience and spoke about Bijan Fazlollahi's contributions to Caucasus University. Vice-presidents Guram Lezhava, Nugzar Skhirtladze, and Buba Lezhava, as well as other guests, also spoke, emphasizing Prof. Fazlollahi's professionalism and personal qualities.
Professor Emeritus Fazlollahi received his Honorary Doctorate from Caucasus University in 2009. He has earned a BS degree from MIT and MBA and Ph.D. degrees from Syracuse University.
Caucasus University extends its gratitude to Professor Fazlollahi for his hard work and contributions to the establishment and development of CU.
