BioNova, the winner of Pre-acceleration program CUnicorn (Batch 3) demo day and a beneficiary of Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, has secured a 25,000 GEL regional grant from Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) for the Shida Kartli region.
This grant program aims to strengthen the local innovative and technological ecosystem in Georgia and to foster the development of innovative startups through commercialization.
In addition, BioNova has been awarded the 2024 Social Impact Award, which recognizes outstanding contributions to social entrepreneurship among youth. As part of this initiative, they will participate in the International Social Impact Award Summit in Germany.
BioNova converts biomass into bioenergy in areas where traditional energy sources are unavailable.
