During their official visit to Lithuania, the President of Caucasus University, Mr. Kakhaber Shengelia, along with Vice-Presidents Ms. Khatia Goglidze and Ms. Irena Melua, were hosted by the Rector of Vilnius University, Professor Rimvydas Petrauskas. The meeting took place at Vilnius University.

Within the framework of the visit, the parties discussed opportunities to further deepen the cooperation between Caucasus University and Vilnius University, as well as the development of joint academic programs and research projects. Special attention was given to the initiative of launching joint programs/projects focused on the teaching of the Georgian language at Vilnius University.

It is noteworthy that cooperation between Caucasus University and Vilnius University has been ongoing since 2018 and includes student exchanges across various programs, as well as the implementation of different academic programs.

Caucasus University continues to actively support its internationalization strategy by establishing new partnerships with higher education institutions worldwide, as well as strengthening strategic cooperation with existing partner universities.
