On April 1 Caucasus University participated in a charity gala evening held by the non-governmental organization "American Friends of Georgia" at the Sheraton Hotel.

A reception, dinner, auction, poetry reading, and concert were all part of the charity event. It should be noted that at the auction, Caucasus University purchased paintings and works by the following artists: Marc Shagall, Levan Bujiashvili, and Georgi Alexi-Meskhishvili.

It is important to note that in the history of charity evening activities, the gala of 2023 broke the record for the budget received for charity.

AFG gala is held under the patronage of the American ambassador. The organization celebrated 29 years of charity work in Georgia. Since 1994, "American Friends of Georgia" has been working on humanitarian, educational, social, and environmental projects, assisting at-risk groups, single mothers, homeless children, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
