On February 21, Caucasus University hosted a competition for prospective students interested in the programs offered by the School of Tourism. The event was titled "Virtual Travel in Time and Space."
Teams consisting of twelfth-grade students participated in the competition. They answered questions from various fields such as geography, history, literature, and tourism electronically. The competition consisted of three stages.
The workshop was conducted by Elene Kvirikashvili, a lecturer in the hospitality management program and a graduate of Caucasus University. Elene is a traveler, the founder of the Irish sports hub, "PUB 44", and also has the experience of working as the financial director of the Hilton and Rixos hotels. Based on her professional experience, Elene discussed the significance of tourism and hospitality management programs, the role of hotels and gastronomy in the tourism sector, and different countries of the world seen through the eyes of a traveler.
The winners of the competition were awarded certificates and CU branded gifts.
