On March 20-21, Nana Sharikadze, Associate Professor at Caucasus University and Head of the International Research Center for the Study of Georgia, participated in the International Conference on Decolonising and Decentering Imperial, Soviet, and Post-Soviet Music Histories at Wadham College, University of Oxford.
She presented on the topic “Soviet Georgian Music of the Thaw, or the Contradictions of Controlled Liberalization”.
The conference was attended by world-renowned researchers of Soviet and post-Soviet art.
