CST Professor Nugzar Amilakhvar recognized by the Global Forum for Education and Training as one of the 100 Leaders in the World

On March 13, the Global Forum for Education and Learning (www.gfel.world) recognized Nugzar Amilakhvar, a professor at Caucasus School of Technology, as one of the world's 100 leaders in education and training. The award ceremony was scheduled for June 23-25 ​​at an international conference in Las Vegas, USA, but was postponed to December 8-10 due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

 

It is important to note that according to the Global Forum Award Committee, a representative of the post-Soviet countries in the field of education and teaching with high marks will be presented for the first time.

 

It should be noted that Professor Nugzar Amilakhvari has been working at Caucasus University since 2002. He was the first full-fledged professor of computer technology at Caucasus University. He has published nine textbooks in the field of Informatics (for all courses he has been teaching) specifically for Caucasus University students.

 

Professor Nugzar Amilakhvari has received numerous awards for his fruitful and excellent scientific, pedagogical and public activities in the State Service of Georgia, including the thanks of the President of Georgia (2003) and the Prime Minister of Georgia (2015).
