Caucasus School of Business alumni and lecturers have been appointed to Liberty Bank's management team as a result of changes.

Vakhtang Babunashvili - Position of Financial Director, Deputy General Director and Davit Abashidze - Position of Risk Director, Deputy General Director.

Vakhtang Babunashvili has 15 years of experience working in the financial sector. Vakhtang started his career in 2005 in the consulting company "Synergy Group". Since 2007 he has held a number of financial positions in Bank Republic (Societe Generale Group), TBC Bank and Bank of Georgia. In July 2020, Vakhtang joined Liberty Bank as Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Vakhtang Babunashvili holds an MSE degree from INSEAD (France) and since 2007 has been a visiting lecturer at Caucasus University in Banking and Financial Institutions Management.

Davit Abashidze has almost 20 years of experience in the financial sector. Prior to joining the Liberty Bank team, he worked in investment banking in the UK at global banks such as Citigroup and Barclays, where he assisted various financial institutions and financial technology companies in raising capital, merging acquisitions and investing. In 2006-2012, Davit held the position of Head of Financial Risks at Cartu Bank. Davit Abashidze holds an INSEAD MBA degree (France) and CFA accreditation.
