After Stanford, Berkeley and Harvard, ethnomusicologist, Doctor of Arts and Professor of Caucasus University Mr. Gia Bagashvili delivered public lectures on Georgian polyphony at two prestigious European higher education institutions. Sibelius Academy of University of Art in Helsinki, Finland on October 28, and on October 29 at the Norway Music Academy in Oslo.

The lectures were of great interest to the audience. Finnish and Norwegian music scholars and students asked the professor questions about Georgian polyphony.

Representatives of the Georgian diplomatic corps attended the lectures on Georgian polyphony and assessed the presentation of Georgian treasures to Europeans by Mr. Bagashvili.
