Dr. Kakha Shengelia President of Caucasus University and President of International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) attended the IAUP Conference in Baku, the topic of which is "Globalization and New Challenges in Higher Education." The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dr. Mikheil Chkhenkeli and other representatives of the country’s education sector are among official participants of the meeting.

The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Dr. Mikheil Chkhenkeli met with the Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Jaheuz Aziz Ogloo Bairamov to discuss the success and challenges of the educational system of the two countries. The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan Mr. Teimuraz Sharashenidze.
