Caucasus University President Kakha Shengelia and his delegation visited the Iranian city of Isfahan as part of a week-long official visit. During the first two days of the trip, the delegation held an official meeting with the President of Islamic Azad University Isfahan (Khorasgan) Branch, Dr. Payam Najafi, and representatives of the university.
The meeting focused on potential areas of future cooperation, including student and faculty exchange programs, the development of joint educational programs in Georgian and Persian, as well as collaborative research projects and international academic initiatives.
Following the meeting, the CU delegation toured various faculties, laboratories, research centers, and student-run startup companies. In addition, a cultural and educational tour was held in the city of Isfahan, during which the delegation visited historical and cultural landmarks.
This visit was an important step in strengthening educational and cultural relations between Iran and Georgia.
