On July 2, Caucasus University hosted the public defense of the doctoral dissertation of Nika Zibzibadze, a student of the Business School’s English-language doctoral program in Management.

The dissertation, entitled “Beyond Profit: Embedding Sustainable Project Management in Georgia’s Large Organizations”, was supervised by Professor Erekle Pirveli.

The dissertation was defended before the Dissertation Committee, which consisted of the following members:

• Elene Jgharkava, Associate Professor, Dean of the Business School, Caucasus University;
• Professor Erekle Pirveli, Business School, Caucasus University;
• Giorgi Khishtovani, Associate Professor, Ilia State University;
• Tengiz Taqtakishvili, Associate Professor, Business School, Caucasus University;
• Vakhtang Partsvania, Professor, Business School, Caucasus University.

During the defense, the doctoral candidate presented the dissertation and answered questions from the committee members. Following the presentation, the reviewer of the dissertation, Associate Professor Giorgi Khishtovani of Ilia State University, delivered his evaluation and comments on the research.

According to the assessment of the Dissertation Committee, Nika Zibzibadze successfully defended his dissertation and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Management.
