Caucasus University students were on a study tour to Abu Dhabi and Dubai. As part of the Caucasus Training Center (UAE) program, various types of meetings and training sessions were held.

Students met with startuppers Tornike Asatiani and Mariam Katsaridze, who shared their experience on ways to create and develop a business, discussed challenges and gave practical advice on how to transform an idea into a growing business.

Participants also visited the in5 Innovation Center, where they learned about Dubai’s innovation ecosystem and entrepreneurship; they received information on how the center supports startups and entrepreneurs develop their businesses, and how innovative ideas are successfully implemented.

Additionally, students took part in a training session on “Negotiating for Startup Financing”, where they studied the basics of entrepreneurship, scalable business models, strategies related to entering the market, as well as investor communication techniques and obtaining financing.

The students gained valuable knowledge about the modern startup ecosystem, the art of communicating with investors, and the skills necessary to start a business.

The study tour concluded with a certificate award ceremony in an informal setting.
