On April 25-27, Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center in collaboration with Rustavi Mediathek, organized a three-day intensive entrepreneurship bootcamp for 9th-12th grade pupils of Rustavi.
The aim of the bootcamp was to raise entrepreneurial awareness among school students, encourage innovative thinking, and introduce them to the fundamental components of startup creation.
During the bootcamp, participants deepened their knowledge in the areas of startup idea generation, market research, marketing strategy development, business model formation, finance, and pitching. They also worked in teams on real entrepreneurial challenges and gained valuable practical experience.
The mentoring process involved:
- Irakli Svanidze — Acting Head of Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center
- Giorgi Razmadze — Co-founder and CEO of Awork.
At the end of the intensive three-day program, a Demo Day was held where participating teams presented their startup ideas. The jury selected the winning team, and Mediateka's favorite startup was also announced. Winners received symbolic prizes and participation certificates from Caucasus University.
The event was held with the support of Georgia's Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA).
