On June 8, in Mexico City, the Board of Directors meeting of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) was held in hybrid mode.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Kakha Shengelia, Chairman of the Board of Directors of IAUP and President of Caucasus University.

During the meeting, IAUP President Fernando León García presented the 2020-2021 Activity Report and next year's operating budget to the members of the board. The members discussed the events and activities planned by the organization over the next two years, as well as other procedural and organizational issues.

It is noteworthy that the IAUP is running the "Leadership Development Program for New and Emerging Leaders" in Mexico City, which is attended by up to 20 newly elected presidents from universities around the world.

Caucasus University President Dr. Kakha Shengelia has been chairing the Board of Directors of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) since 2021 for a three-year term.
