"European Union Enlargement: Practices and Challenges"
On October 9-10, 2026, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Caucasus University and the Jean Monnet Chair “European Union for Peace, Prosperity and Security” will host an international scientific conference “European Union Enlargement: Practices and Challenges”.
The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary academic dialogue on the historical experience, current dynamics, and future prospects of the European Union’s enlargement policy. It will provide a platform for scholarly discussion on the legal, political, economic, and security dimensions of the EU enlargement process.
The conference will bring together Georgian and international scholars, field experts, early-career researchers, and doctoral candidates. Contributions addressing a wide range of theoretical and empirical perspectives are welcome.
Working languages of the conference: Georgian and English.
