From 24 to 26 February, training sessions on research ethics were held at the Caucasus University to help academic staff and students improve their understanding of ethical principles and research culture.
The sessions were led by Tamar Chokoraya, Head of the Academic Writing Center, Diana Mchedlishvili, Director of the Quality Assurance Department, and Professor Nino Popiashvili.
The training covered the following topics: the European Code of Conduct, the challenges related to AI, the role of the ethics committees, research culture, strategies to prevent and manage unethical behavior, authorship and publication ethics.
The training session was organized in the framework of the EU funded Erasmus + CBHE Strand 3 project entitled “Responsible Conduct of Research – Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS)”.
