Elisabed Machitidze, a Professor at the Caucasus University School of Humanities and Social Sciences and a Doctor of Historical Sciences, represented the university at the IV International Conference on Social and Educational Sciences, held at İstanbul Topkapi University from November 1-2.

The conference presented the work of about 100 researchers from 16 different countries.

Professor Machitidze presented a report titled "Peculiarities of Turgut Ozal's Foreign Policy", exploring Türkiye's foreign policy during the years 1983-1993. The report aroused the interest of the audience, confirmed by the discussion held after the report.
