The electronic proceedings of the international conference “EU Integration Perspectives of the Candidate Countries”, organized within the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair “Closer to the EU” (CEU) at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, have been published.
The volume includes the article " Consumer Protection in Georgia: Progress and Challenges under the European Union Enlargement Package (2023-2025)" authored by Professor Guranda Tchelidze of the Jean Monnet Chair "European Union for Peace, Prosperity and Security" (EU-PPS) at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Caucasus University.
The article is based on the courses "European Union Law" and "European Union Social and Economic Policy", developed within the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair. It examines the state of consumer rights protection in Georgia in light of the assessments contained in the European Union's 2023-2025 Enlargement Packages. The study analyses Georgia's progress in this field, including legislative and institutional developments, as well as the practical outcomes of the reforms implemented.
