A public lecture by Karina Sotnik on topic – “From idea to company: five ingredients for a successful startup; How to attract investments” was held at Caucasus University.

Karina Sotnik is a serial entrepreneur, mentor, and advisor with over a decade of experience creating entrepreneurial ecosystems through innovation programs with significant economic impact. She has extensive experience in academic innovation, incubation, acceleration and global soft-landing programs for startups, universities, and international organizations.

During the public lecture, the audience had an opportunity to get information on such important issues as: building blocks that lay a foundation for every successful company, the mistakes that companies often make, and how to avoid them; How to create a US-centric pitch to impress US investors. What are investor's expectations, and what sources of funding are available to companies coming from abroad. 

The meeting was conducted interactively and the attendees received comprehensive answers to their questions.
